The suspect who was arrested at ziri market near Sector 39 roundabout on Tuesday afternoon, arrived in India via business visa and have been staying in Delhi ever since.
Upon being interrogated, Nonso said he came to Chandigarh to find customers for heroin due to the Christmas and New year holiday, he went further to say that an associate has told him that Chandigarh is a good market for heroin.
The Nigerian man revealed he got the drugs from one of his countymen living in Uttam Nagar in Delhi, Nonso was arraigned in a local court on Wednesday December 25th after failing to produce a passport, visa or any other documents regarding his stay in India or Chandigarh.
