The state police commissioner, Musa Limo while parading the suspect with 213 criminals said that he had defrauded and threatened unsuspecting members of the public.
When he was arrested they found one English pistol without bullet and magazine,portraits of chief superintendent of police and Assistant commissioner of police, three pairs of uniform, police belt, fake police identity cards and other documents.
The suspect when speaking to the newsman he said
" It started when I lost my job, I was with the police in Alagbon as a superintendent and was dismissed in 2007 due to an illegal job I was involved in. I left Lagos in 2008 and met my girlfriend Gloria Erin in Malabar, she is the one providing me with these uniforms, she is a serving officer and work with police secondary school.
