Fret who first stepped into the spotlight in April 2018 with his song 'soy Asi' was an outspoken advocate in the LGBT community and was one of the few well-known gay rapper in the island nation.
The musician, describe as latin trap music's first openly gay artist, was shot dead in the capital San Juan on Thursday morning. The rapper and outspoken advocate from the LGBT community, kelvin Fret age 24 was killed in Puerto Rico.
Fret was shot while riding his bike 8 times on the street and he was hit on the head and hip. His death brings the murders in puerto Rico number to 22.
