According to reports , Jubrin Abu who hails Lapai LGA of the state , used a piece of wood to kill his wife because she disobeyed his warning that she should stop talking to men on the phone in his house.
When asked what happened , why did he killed his wife? He said
I used a wood to kill her after several warning for her to desist from taking calls from men in the house, I have always suspected her of sleeping with men around my village in our matrimonial home and my culture forbids such so I had to kill her to save the family from shame

It was also gather that he tried to commit suicide by taken sniper but was rushed to the hospital.
