A middle aged man has been arrested for raping and then killing a pregnant woman on February 28 ,2019.
The suspect , Timring Napkur,attacked the woman , Zainab Abu, a seven months pregnant lady , at the river bank when she was washing cloth, her two daughters were with her.
The state commissioner , Isaac said Timring raped the victim, strangulated and pushed her into the river to drown and she died.
The victim's two daughters, Aije,7 , and khadija,4, escaped and reported the crime to their father , the police commissioner said. The suspect in his response said he regretted his action.
