According to inspector Donny Raphael who bought Olayiwola before the Ikeja Magistrate court on Thursday February 28th, the incident occurred between October 2018 and January 2019 in a hotel. The father of the victim discovered his daughter was pregnant and reported to the police.
He was subsequently arranged in an ikeja magistrate's court sitting in Ogba on one count of defilement.
The charge against him read....
" that you Quaseem Olayiwola between October 2018 and January 2019 at Olubar Hotel C&S area, Ayodo , Lagos did unlawfully defile a 14-year old girl by impregnating her. You thereby committed an offence punishable under section 137 of the criminal law of Lagos state 2015.
The chief magistrate Bola Osunsami ordered that Olayiwola be remanded in prison custody pending the outcome of legal advice from the Directorate of public prosecution on the matter.
