The Federal Government has ordered that the land borders of States where supplementary election will been carried should be closed.
A Statement from the comptroller general of the Nigeria immigration service, Muhammad Babndede, confirmed the land border closure of Adamawa, Benue and Sokoto States.
The closure would start from 12 noon today Friday, and drag to 12 noon on Sunday , March 24. Other states like Kano, Bauchi and plateau would not be closed.
This closure is to help restrict the movement in this States due to violence experience from last one.
