Warner Bros chairman and CEO , Kevin Tsujihara is stepping down due to claims that he tried to secure roles for an actress he allegedly had an affair with.
John Stankey , chief executive of WarnerMedia said that it was "in the best interest" of the firm ,he will step down , Tsujihara on the other hand acknowledged that his mistakes are inconsistent with the company's leadership expectations'' Warner said.
There is an on going investigation on the matter, Earlier this month the Hollywood reporter claimed an actress had meet with Tsujihara so he can help her in landing roles after they had sex.
Tsujihara's lawyer said at the time that the executive did not have a direct role in the hiring any one in any movie...
Tsujihara wrote a letter to the staffs of the firm...
It has become clear that my continued chairmanship could be a distraction to the firm's continued success . the hard work of everyone within our organization is truly admirable and I won't let media attention on my post detract from all the great work of the team...he wrote
