Trump banning Huawei in the US was no good news to the Chinese. As it restricted the world second largest smartphone producer from its biggest market. This is causing China to retaliate by putting a ban on the world third largest phone maker, Apple from 29% of it's MA let.
An Analyst name Goldman Sachs estimated that Apple would lose 29% of its profit if the ban was to proceed. China doesn't necessarily needs to ban Apple product and make them lose 17% of their product sales, what a bad news for Apple, but a statement to Trump and his administration that China would not be bullied.
Apple planning to move its production to India.
Another thing which needs to be talked about is the fact that Apple product are manufactured in China and the loss would be quite more than just 29% for Apple.
Although there is speculation Apple is looking to move its production to India, Apple would face immediate challenges but moving permanently from China would be preferable according to analysis.
Apple is not the only America company that manufactures in China, other companies as well would suffer from this trade war between China and USA, most especially the consumers as these would result in companies moving out of China.
