The OAU student upon learning she might have an extension in her academic calendar due to her poor performance believed she had no choice than to commit suicide.
My question is "Did she graduate after committing the 'suicide' ?" I do think you know the answer, the rate of suicide among undergraduates is now Critical.
From the report gathered from the school portal it showed she had five outstanding courses and special electives as carry over and therefore not allowed to write the final exams with her mate.
The Public Relation Officer of the varsity , Abiodun Olarewaju confirmed the incident to The Nation Newspaper but he is yet to brief about it. He also added the student committed suicide by drinking 'Sniper' (insecticide) , an aftermath of having failing to write the final year exams.
She was rushed to OAU's teaching hospital but it was already too late....
