INEC has clarified its decision not to allow PDP's presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar in the just concluded election access to inspect election materials.
Atiku Abubakar lost the presidential election to President Buhari on 23rd of February, and had filed an application to compel INEC to grant him access to materials used for the election and the court granted his request..
Despite the court order INEC is yet to grant the access to election materials.
According to Rotimi INEC will comply only when they received the court order...
It is common knowledge that since the declaration of the presidential election, the commission has been busy with multiple activities of organising other election.
Only last Thursday , the commission presented the certificate of return to senators elect and house of representatives and various activities, the commission will comply when the due process is followed..he added..
