An Osogbo Chief Magistrates' court in Osun yesterday sentenced one 19 year old , Olasunkanmi Yekini to 6 years in prison for stealing three female panties and one Tecno phone worth #6000.
The convict was sentenced with no bail option by Magistrate Rofiat Olayemi.
Inspector Musillimi had told the court that the convict committed the offence on January 28 around 10 in the morning, at 12 Ibokun Road , Oja In a area , Osogbo.
The convict was said to have broken into the apartment of one Folashade Ganiyu and stole three pants belonging to her with one techno phone...
The prosecutor said the offence contravened the provisions of section 412 and 249 of the criminal code cap 34 Vol 11, laws of Osun 2002. The convict was charged with theft and public peace
