Iranian couple arrested after marriage proposal in public, on Friday in Arak.
The couple tho later released on bail were said to have offended Islamic mores on public decency.
Mostafa Norouzi, deputy police chief in Arak, told the Shahvrand daily that it is unacceptable for the young to do whatever is common outside Islam countries and disregard mores and culture and religion in Iran.
The pair offence is clear and they is no need for their arrest, Norouzi added...
Also one news agency known as Fars condemn the public display and request that harsh punishment is place to permanently remove such display in the future...
