A lieutenant commander of the Nigeria navy identified as Solomon Derikoma, was found dead in his apartment in Kaduna state yesterday .
According to reports, Direkoma who hails from Rivers state, was undergoing training at the Armed forces command and staff college, Jaji, Kaduna State until his death. He and his colleagues was supposed to go for a study tour yesterday, and his colleagues where waiting for him at the point of gathering for minutes as they were running late, they decided to go call him.
On getting there, they found a padlock on his door suggesting he was no aat home. Calls made to his phone were unsuccessful and his door was broken down only to find him in his pool of blood, and a heavy stone suggesting he was murdered.
Police was alerted and his corpse deposited into a mortuary.
