Bayero University Kano expelled 24 final year on Friday August 9.
According to the statement released by the spokesperson for the university Lamara Garba, revealed that each of the students were suspected for either forgery or impersonating.
He revealed that 6 of the students had fake results from their institutions while one had a fake NECO result. It however added that the remaining 18 students will be appearing before the senate committee to defend their dignity.
This announcement was made after the 374th meeting of the university's Senate on Wednesday August 7.
Further reading into the matter revealed that 10 of the expelled students were from the faculty of education , nine from faculty of social and management science while Faculties of Science, Law, Engineering, Arts and Islamic studies had one each.
